I am a mother of four and wife of one.

I seek to glorify God by sharing my adventures and encouraging other mothers to embrace their role and calling.

Audaciter Matris is Latin for “Fearless (or Audacious) Mother”. A Fearless Mother is one who is not afraid to laugh at the days to come (Prov. 31), who is not given to fear but to a sound mind, and who understands herself (and her husband) to be endowed by God as the “expert” when it comes to her health and all matters of her family.

Women today are afraid of being women. We have been told that we must become like men- strong, barren, and successful. The truth is that it is only the strong woman who can be like a woman! Great restraint and a quietly controlled strength are necessary to travel the path of true womanhood.

Women today are told that their bodies are weak and their minds are inept. The truth is that we were Created wonderfully and fearfully! Great skill and forethought is required to run a home and nurture a family, and we have been given the tools we need to do this job. Our bodies were made to birth and feed babies and comfort our families. The ability to reproduce should not be viewed as an illness, to be treated with medication so as to suppress it.

When I’m not saving the world through blogging, I can be found making soap in the kitchen or playing in the dirt outside in my organic garden.
