I’m doing it. I know I said I wasn’t going to.
I am making a Home Management Binder. It seems so faddish, so everyone is doing it, that I don’t want to do it.
But I need a place to empty my brain, so that while I’m making lunch I’m just making lunch. I’m not thinking about [...]

Those days when you want to run screaming from your house like an insane asylum escapee and jump in the nearest pool/lake/creek you can find with all your clothes on. Yep. We all have them.
I have them about 4 out of every 7 days. =D
My brain function greatly diminished after my brain injury Evie was [...]

I am boycotting the Menus and Recipes section of my blog right now.
I respectfully refuse to share the contents of my pantry and fridge as I sit and pout… and starve.

I don’t want to give the impression that my children are the problem. Because they aren’t. Neither is the number or ages of them. I also don’t [...]

Candi asked:
I’d love hearing how you started on the healthy journey. I buy what I can organic, but I’m wondering how you manage to do so much from scratch with everything else you do. I have quite a few days with toddlers where I forget to thaw things, etc…and then throw something (not so healthy) [...]

If you are going to eat healthy, you might as well do it up right. There’s no reason to feel like you are “doing without” when you decide to let go of processed foods! Just take a minute and think about what it is you feel your body needs, or what sounds good. Give your [...]

My brother, and also one of my most dearest friends, is a rapper. He’s pretty fly for a white guy.
Whenever my kids get a stomach bug, I blame myself for not keeping the bathrooms cleaner.
When I’m sick, I clean compulsively, sometimes in my robe. I associate sickness with dirtiness evidently. I think it’s because growing [...]
